TRT Humanitarian Film Festival 2026 applications have officially started.

Organized by TRT and held for the 8th time this year, the festival aims to support short films addressing humanitarian issues such as war, migration, women’s rights, climate change, poverty, and social inequality. University students, young filmmakers, directors, and independent filmmakers are eligible to apply.

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old,
• Have produced a short film between 5–20 minutes,
• Have completed their film after January 1, 2021.

Awards:

• First Prize: 10,000 USD
• Second Prize: 7,500 USD
• Third Prize: 5,000 USD
• TRT Special Award: 2,500 USD
