According to the announcement shared by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK), applications are now open for the 2027 Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program.

The program offers scholarship opportunities for Turkish students who wish to pursue undergraduate or research studies at Japanese universities. The preliminary evaluation process will be conducted by the Embassy of Japan in Ankara, while the final admission decision will be made by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
