Position Overview The Department of Data Science and Analytics at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) invites applications for multiple full-time faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor). We are seeking outstanding candidates in all areas of Data Science and Analytics.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. (or A.B.D.) in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated potential (Assistant Professor) or record of excellence (Associate/Full Professor) in research and teaching.
Topics of Interest We welcome expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence; Big Data Analytics; Statistical Learning and Applied Statistics; Signal and Image Analysis; Optimization and Computational Methods; Data Engineering and Cloud-Based Systems; and Applications of Data Science in Business, Finance, Healthcare, and other sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in leading journals.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and supervise student research.
- Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, and university service.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations and seek external funding through scientific projects or private sector partnerships.
